France – Café Théo

Jesus habitually went out to meet people and talk with them.  Would he have met with them in small Parisian cafés?  Why of course!

Café Théo is an occasion for students to get together and talk about God in their daily lives in a neutral setting where everyone is at ease.  The goal is to share the Good News at the corner café.  The students of AEU-Phila invite their seeking friends to come and talk about what is essential in life.

At our first Café Théo, Olympe invited her brother Christian who brought his girlfriend, Aurelie.  Valerie came with her friend, Sindy.  We were blessed as we sensed the Holy Spirit leading the conversation to focus on the true meaning of life in Jesus Christ.

Sindy became the chief witness of the occasion.  She shared how she had looked into every religion, philosophy, cult group, that is, whatever she could discover, only to come back to Jesus.  She realized and came to believe that He is the way, the truth, and the life.  She knows that she is entirely free in her relationship with Jesus.  This freedom makes his love even more precious.

Other Café Théos are also scheduled.
