Andree, a woman of about 50 years, is a new member of the church plant in Marche, Belgium pastored by AGWM personnel, Kerby and Sheila Rials.  They will be baptizing her soon.  The story of her salvation is an example of God’s amazing ways in reaching His people with His love.

Andree was watching one of her favorite detective shows on TV when she heard a voice in her  head saying to turn off the TV, get her coat and go outside because there was someone she needed to meet.  She was confused by the voice, thought she was going crazy, and decided to ignore it.

A few minutes later, the voice said again to cut off the TV, get her coat and go out.  So she did.  Not sure where she was supposed to go, she went to a used furniture store run by her ex-husband.  When she got there, she saw Kerby Rials, and a church member, Joel, talking to her ex, who is an atheist, about the Lord.  Rials spoke to her briefly and Joel invited her to the prayer meeting that night.  Rials was surprised to see her there as the meeting was just for prayer, no teaching or even singing.  At the end of the hour of prayer, she began to cry and spoke about her son in prison and how people had condemned her as a bad mother.

Rials relates that he “comforted her, reminding her that even God’s kids mess up.  We laid hands on her and prayed.  Then I led her in a prayer of repentance and salvation.  She has been faithful to attend EVERY meeting since and takes careful notes.  She is enrolled in the video Bible School with five others.

“I was able to go see her son in prison but could not take in a Bible or tracts.  I plan to go back and visit him again,”  said Rials.
