The mission statement for the Europe Region of the Assemblies of God is to "accelerate the spread of the gospel and model the integrity of New Testament missionaries." This is based on II Thessalonians 3:1 where Paul talks about spreading the good news of Jesus Christ as quickly as possible.

The Assemblies of God Europe Region partners with approximately 35 different Pentecostal movements across Europe to fulfill our mission statement. Whereas we do not have missionaries in every one of the 33 countries of Europe, we do have partnerships. Our partnerships work best when missionaries are in the country; nevertheless, we do have excellent relations with sister fellowships in the Scandinavian countries and some other countries in Europe. We are not there to build the Assemblies of God U.S.A. but to build the work of the Kingdom and to partner with these different movements.

Our focus in Europe is Cities, Campuses, and Children. We focus on cities because 80 percent of Europeans live in the cities. If we are going to reach the Europe of today, we need to reach the cities.

We focus on campuses because the statistics bear out in America and overseas that if people come to Christ, they usually come before they reach the age of 25.

We focus on children because children have been neglected by the church in Europe, in part, due to various challenges such as logistical and space needs. We also focus on children because the Bible calls upon us to not neglect them.

In Europe we seek to fulfill our mission statement through the ministry of 444 missionaries and missionary associates. We seek to fulfill the mission through planting churches, training workers, sharing in evangelism, and touching those who need help with compassion.

We thank God for what He is doing across our continent. We believe that, as we pray and continue working faithfully, God will do exceedingly abundantly above what we could ask or even think.
