| The Director's Message
by Greg Mundis
Dear Friends:
Prayer Alert For Madrid
The Madrid bombing's aftershocks are still being felt
by our missionary family. We are continuing to receive
reports from our area director for Spain and our missionary
family. Fortunately, none of our missionary family were
physically hurt. We thank God for this. However reports
are coming in that people from our sister churches in
the Madrid area have been either killed or wounded.
The atmosphere in Spain is very tense at the moment
as the Spanish people try to deal with this horrible
reality.
I am asking you to pray in several ways:
1. Please pray for the families of the victims
of this tragedy. Keep in mind that believers have suffered
also and please pray for our believing community in
Madrid.
2. Pray for our missionaries and missionary associates
that are expressing their calling to Spain in some very
difficult circumstances. Pray for the protection of
the entire family. Pray for ministry opportunities and
for grace to live in these difficult times.
3. Pray that the Holy Spirit would use this tragedy
for the glory of God. The Bible says "in the last
days men's hearts will fail them for fear." May
our missionaries and the believing community share the
love of Jesus Christ (perfect love drives out fear)
with those whose foundations have been shaken.
Thank you for your prayers and concern.
God Bless ,
Greg Mundis
