Director's Message

1900 Souls
Europe is a complex, multifaceted matrix of countries, cultures, languages, and histories that has created some unique enclaves on and outside the Continent. For instance, there are countries in continental Europe that have republics in them—San Marino in Italy is its own independent republic; Andorra in Spain; Morocco in France, and Liechtenstein in Switzerland are all independent principalities, republics, or territories operating inside countries.
Also, because of history, some cities based outside of Europe actually belong to countries in Europe. I am hesitating to mention the names of those cities due to personnel security concerns.
What is exciting is that just recently Convoy of Hope Europe hosted an event in a European city enclave on another continent. The event hosted around 1900 people who received food, haircuts, and manicures. They were treated with respect, and they had the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of the nature of this city and the continent where they are, many of them heard the gospel message for the very first time in their lives.
This was all possible because of a compassionate outreach by Convoy of Hope Europe in conjunction with the national church of that country and our missionaries. We were able to make a huge difference in the lives of 1900 people.
What can I say? God gives us unique opportunities to share the gospel. His Great Commission says to go into all the world and preach the gospel—not only where it is convenient, but also where it is inconvenient; not only in certain places, but in the faraway remote places that people forget about.
I’m so thankful our missionaries in Europe, Convoy of Hope Europe, and the national church in this country in Europe have hearts to reach people for Jesus Christ. I’m thankful 1900 people had the opportunity to hear the gospel, even in a free European city on another continent.
Be blessed and encouraged—the gospel is being preached all around the world.
May the Lord richly bless you today.
God bless.
