Nela came to the annual Brno, Czech Republic church retreat at the "request" of her mother. She came but refused to speak to anyone. She had been involved with drugs and boys and had little interest in God. However by the fifth night she was bored enough to attend the evening meeting where the Holy Spirit started to work on her.
Nela decided to go forward at the end of the service when an invitation was given to come down to the altar to pray. She then said that she lay in bed crying the whole night as the Holy Spirit worked in her heart. The next day she came to an afternoon prayer meeting. Jason Morrison, AGWM personnel was in that meeting and remembers her sitting inconspicuously along a wall with several others in a small room with about 30 people and only about 10 chairs.
During that meeting, the Czech church superintendent, Rudolf Bubik, suddenly stopped the prayers, turned, pointed to her and said, "You, come here!" He then said God had showed him that she was doing drugs, sleeping with her boyfriend, etc. but that she wanted to change. She started to weep and prayed with him, accepting Jesus as her savior.
On Sunday, July 15, Nela gave this testimony in the Brno church. With tears in her eyes, she told how she never could have imagined sitting at home or spending time with Christians on a Friday night instead of being out partying. She testified that her life is not the same---God has changed her.
