STUDENTS FINDING CHRIST

July 19, 2007

Joe and Jayne Zickafoose are AGWM personnel in Scotland. Their focus of ministry is to present Christ and a new life in Him to the university students. They report that their discipleship small groups have grown from two to five in a matter of just four months. More than 50 students attend these small group meetings weekly. Students in the United Kingdom seem to want to belong before they are willing to believe. They want to see the Christian faith working in people's lives before they are willing to commit themselves to Christ.
STUDENTS FINDING CHRIST

New students are coming to church almost every week. One student, Dan, rededicated his life to Christ and then brought his flatmate, Alistair to church and to student meetings. Alistair give his heart to the Lord and both he and Dan are eager to be used by God in reaching other students as well as to serve in the church.

Another student, Mark, also brought his flatmate, again by the name of Alistair, to church and the student meetings. Joe recently met with Alistair and asked him what was drawing him to church. He said, "I can see that God is making a real difference in Dan's life and I want that too" Alistair has begun praying that God would make himself real to him. The Zickafoose' are praying also that God would show up in a powerful way in his life and to many other students there in Scotland.
