AGWM Personnel in Czech Republic, Jason Morrison, relates the following incident. He recently attended a church council meeting in Uhersky Brod. One topic of discussion was about ways the church can reach the millions of atheists in the Czech Republic. Many ideas were discussed, but it was generally agreed that we desperately needed to see a powerful intervention by God's Spirit. With this heavy on the hearts of those present, the meeting turned into a time of prayer and intercession during which Roman Tomsa, one of the church council members had a vision.

"I saw many of the wonders of the world. I saw people from every nation coming to see the Statue of Liberty, the palace in London, the Eiffel Tower, etc. Then I saw a small cross by the road which people ignored. Suddenly I was back in the meeting and I heard a voice that said, 'Show them the cross.'"

The room was silent and tears filled my eyes as I heard this word. How true. Often we try to attract people's attention with grand displays and attractions, but God is calling us to show them the real power of the Gospel. We cannot neglect the cross of our savior. This is the only hope for our nation.
