Among the Catalan people of Spain, it cannot be reported that many are finding a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ, but they are coming to Him, one by one.

AGWM Personnel, Ricardo Moreno tells of a Catalan man married to a Chilean wife. She was raised as an evangelical Christian. At a recent Sunday morning service, Moreno invited anyone who wanted to give their life to the Lord to come up to the front. This 23-year-old man raised his hand and came up for prayer. Everyone in the small church building was able to hear him pray, asking the Lord to forgive his sins. The congregation was filled with great joy, some expressing their emotions with tears.

The young man had been coming to church for about three months. Moreno says he would greet him and explain the Gospel message to him since this was all very new to him. Many in Spain and particularly in Catalunya are raised as agnostics or atheists, and can be described as very secular and worldly. They have no background,understanding, or awareness of the spiritual life.

Moreno states, "It takes patience and waiting upon God who alone can penetrate a culture with the Gospel."
