Czech national radio carried a live, nationwide broadcast of the worship service from the church in Brno, Czech Republic this month. The church utilized the hour-long broadcast to present a clear explanation of the Gospel message to the Czech people.
In addition to the sermons, the service included a time of praise and worship, personal testimony and a baby dedication (distinguishing the practice from baby baptism which many mistakenly believe is the only thing needed for salvation).
At the end of the sermon in which Pastor Frantisek Apetaur clearly presented the need for repentance and God's grace, the pastor concluded by challenging the listeners to place their faith in God and allow Him the chance to reveal himself by believing for healing. Then he led in a simple prayer for God to supernaturally heal those who were seeking and praying.
As soon as the service ended, the pastor's phone began ringing non-stop. One lady sent a text message because she could not get through on the busy phone lines. She had been hopelessly suffering from cancer for several years. She wrote, "I have not even been able to die." However, she said that the service had given her hope as she had prayed with the pastor for God's grace and now knows she is not alone. God is renewing hope in this nation and revealing Himself as a loving God who hears.
