The Adventures of Lillian

Eva Bubikova is a mother, pastor's wife, artist and writer living in the Czech Republic. For several years now, Eva felt that God wanted her to write and illustrate a children's evangelism book. With the help of "Light for the Lost",* this book has become a reality.

The title of the book is The Adventures of Lillian. It is a beautifully done, full color book. It tells the story of a little boy, Lillian, who - flying in a rocket that is not his own - travels to a kingdom high in the sky.

Lillian is amazed at the wonder and beauty of the great, walled kingdom. And, wanting to get inside, Lillian goes to the main gate. It is there that he notices a golden sign which reads, "Those with dirty hands are forbidden to enter." Lillian looks at his hands. He realizes, for the first time, that his hands are dirty; so he hides them behind his back and enters the great kingdom. And, the adventure begins.

Assemblies of God missionary, Jim Sabella writes: "...Eva's book is one not only of rich color and imagination, but also a book with a message...And, its message is true - 'Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as crimson they shall be like wool. (Isaiah 1:18)' God's son, Jesus, has provided a way for all of us to be clean. I am honored to be a part of this project and look forward to seeing the many more that Eva will most certainly do in the future."

Already The Adventures of Lillian has played a part in reaching children with the Gospel and opening doors that were once closed.
